When does racism end?

Short answer: Never.

Minority UCLA grad students claim the highlighting of spelling and punctuation errors creates an 'unsafe climate'

As long as minorities get to decide that anything that they don't like is racist there will never be an end to 'racism' in this country.  We have institutionalized racism as a means for those who identify themselves with any minority group to claim discrimination for any issue, no matter how trivial, in order to gain advantage.  As long as there are those who profit from claims of racism, racism will always exist.

So much for Barack Obama being the first post-racial president, whose election would wipe away America's original sin of slavery.
