Lurch is a damned hypocrite.....and not a particularly smart one

There's nothing like Democrats for consistency. Consistently hypocritical. They were all a bunch of hawks when Bill Clinton was bombing foreign countries to take the media attention off of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. The Dems were adamant that Saddam had to go then. Right after 9/11, when the Democrats were afraid that they would be seen as the weak, appeasing surrender monkeys they truly are, they made a great show of demanding to be able to vote for a war authorization. They all saw a chance to portray themselves as being strong on national defense. But with the 2004 presidential election coming, all of a sudden they were against the war. They claimed that Bush lied to them about WMD, even though they all supported Clinton when he used exactly the same reason for attacks on Iraq during his administration. Yep. Hillary, John F*cking Kerry and all the rest made numerous public statements citing Saddam's WMD program as a need to conduct regime change in Iraq. In spite of all the hawkish rhetoric Clinton only lobbed a few cruise missiles at Iraq. George Bush actually had the courage and conviction to follow through and take action. The democrats were overwhelmingly in favor of going to war when they thought it would help them in the midterms, but when the presidential elections rolled around they needed an issue with which to attack Bush. All of a sudden all the hawks are back to being cheese-eating surrender monkeys. John F'n Kerry's "I voted for the war before I voted against it" comment was perhaps the best example of this monumental flip flop. Desperately pandering to both sides and coming out sounding like an idiot. The Democrats did their level best to lose the Iraq war in their effort to win the presidency. That tells you all you need to know about these people. They have no moral compass. They simple do or say whatever is politically expedient at the moment. They shamelessly contradict themselves at every turn because they know that the news media will never report their hypocrisy.
