The bodies from Fast and Furious just keep stacking up

This is yet another example of the liberal news media providing cover for the Obama Administration. The Obama Administration allowed those guns to cross into Mexico WITH NO MEANS OF TRACKING. I don't know how clearly I can state that. They deliberately let those guns walk without GPS tracking. The earlier Bush administration program, 'Wide Receiver', moved guns to the cartels, but they had GPS tracking so they could be recovered. As soon as the tracking system got burned, they did what any responsible law enforcement agency would do; shut down the program so that no more guns would go missing. The Obama DoJ started 'Fast and Furious' without any means of tracking. Why would they do that. Why would ANY responsible law enforcement agency knowingly supply deadly contraband to criminals with no means of tracking, no means of recovery, no evidentiary chain of custody and no way to prevent them from being used to kill. Of course there is no logical reason to start a law enforcement operation without any means of prosecution. There is really only one reason why they would do something like that. What does this administration do every time its plans are thwarted by Congress, the Court or the will of the people? It just sidesteps those constitutional checks on the power of the Executive Branch. Time and again this administration has taken improper or illegal steps to implement policy that it could not do so legally. When the administration failed in its first attempt at gun control legislation it decided to move ahead by a different means. How could they get the public behind their efforts to ban 'assault rifles'? Well at the time there weren't any dead school children on whose graves they could stand and cry for immediate gun control legislation. So maybe a high enough toll of dead Mexicans could generate the outrage they needed to push their gun control hysteria.

The arrogant tyrant spoke in Mexico today. He blamed Americans and the 2nd Amendment for Mexico's violence.
Obama is the first anti-American president. Throughout his tenure he has consistently blamed the United States for evils around the world, sided with our enemies and shunned our allies. It is time for Congress to impeach this criminal.
Holder desperately attempts to block release of Fast and
Furious documents
There is no justifiable reason for preventing the release of these documents. It isn't going to jeopardize national security or an ongoing investigation; so why fight the release? There is only one reason. If these documents ever see the light of day it will show that Fast and Furious was authorized by the White House and that the administration has engaged in a cover-up to prevent the public from learning of it's involvement. It defies belief that some mid-level political appointee in Phoenix would or even could authorize an operation that had no means of controlling the illicit weapons, could not be used to support any court case and would certainly result in the murders of citizens in a foreign country. Is there any US law enforcement agency that knowingly and purposely allows laws to be broken and contraband items to be delivered to known criminal organizations, with no means of tracking other than later recovery from crime scenes? Would any US law enforcement agency run an operation that had so many legal gaps that it could never be brought to trial? Would any US law enforcement agent risk his career and risk prosecution for knowingly allowing illegal weapons to be smuggled into another country without the consent of that country and a means to track said weapons to their destination? Would any US law enforcement agency knowingly launch an operation that would, with absolute certainty, violate the sovereignty of a foreign country and result in the deaths of foreign nationals, without direction from their department head, the State Department, the AG and the White House? There are a lot of completely improbable things that had to have happened if we are to believe that Fast and Furious was just some botched investigation that was launched by the Phoenix US Attorney's Office. Bureaucrats are nothing if not timid and possessing of an extreme aversion to creating problems that might harm their careers. Are we to believe that multiple mid-level bureaucrats would unilaterally initiate an operation that had such a tremendous likelihood of creating an international incident? These are the type of things that can only come from the White House. So why would the Obama administration authorize such an operation? In his first visit to Mexico, Obama, Hillary Clinton and Felipe Calderon all blamed US guns for the explosion of drug cartel-related violence in Mexico. They deliberately distorted key crime statistics to mislead the public in the United States and Mexico. They claimed that 90% of the weapons found at crime scenes in Mexico came from the US. They deliberately left out that it was 90% of the weapons THAT COULD BE TRACED which came from the US; not 90% of all weapons recovered at crime scenes. This is not surprising since only the US keeps detailed records of weapons serial numbers and sales. The vast majority of the weapons used by the drug cartels are untraceable weapons bought on the black market from crime and war-ravaged places in Central and South America, or stolen from the Mexican Army and police. Obama and Clinton bemoaned the political impediments (2nd Amendment, NRA and 80 million gun owners) which kept them from banning these weapons that supposedly fueled the drug cartel's murderous behavior. Sound familiar? Blaming the tools, not the murderous criminals. Both promised Calderon that they would do whatever they could to change the situation. Having expended all his first-term political capital in passing the stimulus and Obmacare, there was no chance of an 'assault weapons' ban making it through Congress. So, given his propensity to ignore the Constitution, laws, Congress and the courts when it suits him, is it surprising that Obama would look for another means to achieve the same goal? Fast and Furious was nothing more than a plan to create public outrage in the US that could be harnessed to secure the passage of gun control legislation. There is no other explanation that fits all the circumstances. They thought that if enough Mexicans were killed with traceable US guns it would generate a level of public outrage that would enable gun control legislation to pass. The thing they didn't count on was the Fast and Furious guns being used to kill US federal agents and whistle blowers in the BATFE exposing the operation. Given the ongoing congressional investigation into Fast and Furious and that many details had leaked to the public, I guess the Obama administration decided that they would lay low and wait for a better tragedy, er, opportunity for their gun control push. The theater shooting in Aurora evidently wasn't good enough. It had all the ingredients that liberals like to use when trying to pass gun control legislation, but the timing was wrong. Too close to the presidential elections and you know how much liberals hate actually voting for what they believe in right before an election. Lucky for them the Sandy Hook shooting happened right after the election. They could pass all sorts of unconstitutional gun control laws and not have to face the voters for at least two years. One way or another, Obama was going to use some pretext, whether unplanned or orchestrated by him, to advance gun control. By any means necessary.
