Department of Justice?

Not with this administration

That the DoJ is even looking at civil rights charges against Zimmerman is an affront to the Constitution. Not that it should surprise anybody. This administration has already violated half of the Bill of Right's, so I guess they are just trying to run the table before the end of the second term. Let's look at facts. The Sanford police did not feel there was evidence to support charges against George Zimmerman. They saw it for what it was; a case of self defense. All that didn't matter when the leftist race baiting politicians got involved. They wanted their pound of flesh and so they got a prosecutor with questionable morals and ethics, but a strong political motivation to get it for them. She failed because the evidence did not support any of the trumped up charges. Zimmerman was not guilty of a crime, but that doesn't matter to the Obama Administration. Screw that 5th Amendment; we got to stir up some race hatred to take the black community's attention off their 14% unemployment rate. Just a little problem though. The FBI has investigated this for months (why has that even happened) and they have found no evidence of civil rights violations. And how could they. George Zimmerman was not a public official, he held no power over Martin. He was simply the victim of a crime and he defended himself. Will that minor point stop Holder and Obama? Probably not. They have proven on numerous occasions that when federal law or the courts have stood in the way of their agenda they simply ignore them. This is a lawless regime that has no respect for the rule of law. If anybody needs to stand trial for violation of civil rights or other federal laws it would be Obama and Holder
