Obamacare's economic costs
Obamacare and employment
This is what happens when the government interferes with the free market. Democrats decide that they want the government to take control of health care. That we already had an excellent health care system that was working didn't matter to them. Government controlled health care is not about health care; it is about increased government control over individuals and creating government dependence. The Democrats created a crisis and the mainstream media kicked in with the propaganda to support it. So now we are stuck with ObamaCare and this is the result. Essentially ObamaCare has incentivized companies to only hire part time. It's not hard to understand and it was predicted well before ObamaCare was passed. Businesses are punished with taxes/fees for health care for full-time employees (>30hrs/wk), so what will businesses do? That's right; they will only hire part time workers (<30hrs/wk). In one fell swoop the Democrats fundamentally changed the landscape of the American workforce. Now millions will either be under-employed or they will have to work two or more jobs. They interfered with the market and this is what you get. This is why centrally controlled markets always fail. Markets are about supply and demand. Hundreds of millions of people making decisions based on individual needs will always, ALWAYS outperform a market that is handicapped by government control. Governments make political decisions, which are often completely at odds with the needs of the market. Every time the government interferes with the market the results will be increased prices or inadequate supply (which increases prices). So for all of you who voted for Obama Claus, hoping for free sh!t, this is what you get. And if I hear you blame Bush because you have to get a second job at McDonald's I'm going to punch you in the nuts. Don't worry....I'm sure your 'free' health care will take care of it.
