There sure is a lot of unsavory stuff the mainstream media has decided to ignore. They never really looked very carefully into Obama's past before he became president. That's odd, because they sent thirty reporters to Wasilla, Alaska the day after Sarah Palin was named as John McCain's running mate. You know, they just had to find some dirt on her. But Obama didn't really get that treatment. The mainstream media pretty much just accepted his two autobiographies as the be all and end all source for information on Obama's life. They ignored just about everything else. All the substantive stuff wasn't of much interest to the news media. Those little details like his association with the terrorist, Bill Ayers, convicted felon, Tony Rezko, and radical racist preacher, Jeremiah Wright, all escaped scrutiny by the MSM. Likewise, they ignored or attempted to explain away Obama's Marxist parents, mentors, professors, associates and behavior. They told us all about how he was the president of the Harvard Law Review, but never wanted to see any of his writings from his time in that prestigious position. That's OK, because evidently Obama was the only president of the Harvard Law Review who never committed any of his thoughts to paper. We don't know what sort of grades he got, but the media tells us he is way smarter than we are. 
And then there is Obama's voting record from the Illinois State Senate. The news media just didn't think it was important for us to know that Obama voted PRESENT for fully one third of the roll call votes while he was a state senator. Wouldn't that be something that the voters should know? Wouldn't voters want to know that a guy who is running for president of the United States-effectively leader of the free world-couldn't or wouldn't take a public stand on one third of bills that came before him for a vote? But there was one issue that he stood up for. Four times he voted to allow doctors to kill babies who survived abortions and were born alive. Four times he voted to allow infanticide in the case of botched abortions. He wouldn't publicly take a stand on a third of the legislation voted on in the Illinois State Senate, but infanticide was important enough to Obama that he voted for it four times. So I guess we know what his priorities are. 
Just as the mainstream media has worked to keep Obama's support for infanticide out of the public eye, they are ignoring the ongoing murder trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell. He is charged with murdering seven babies that were born alive. He also kept macabre trophies of his killings, joked about the babies as he was killing them, drugged a minor to perform an abortion against her will and committed numerous acts of medical malpractice. You would think that a story so horrific would be all over the news. You would think. But, of course, the media doesn't want any sort of negative attention paid to the issue of abortion. They won't even call it abortion; women's reproductive health is the terminology used in the style book of the liberal media. 
Let's just admit it; the liberal news media censors the news. They only report what will portray liberals and their policies in a good light. They suppress anything that would call into question the motives, methods and results of liberal policy. The mainstream media ignored or suppressed just about everything in Barack Obama's background prior to the election. They are ignoring the horrific information coming out of the Gosnell trial. They ignored the Obama administration's Fast and Furious operation that delivered thousands of guns to the Mexican drug cartels and resulted in over two hundred deaths on both sides of the border. They ignored or suppressed the stories of billions of taxpayer dollars that went to green energy companies, linked to Obama campaign supporters, that have gone bankrupt. They ignored the Justice Department's refusal to prosecute voter intimidation cases against the New Black Panther Party. They ignored the Obama administration's refusal to uphold federal law. They ignored Obama's unconstitutional recess appointments. They ignored his willful defiance of federal judicial rulings. They ignored his blatant politicization of the sequester budget 'cuts'. They ignored the complete disregard for established bankruptcy law and precedent in the government takeover of GM. I could go on and on, but my fingers will cramp up before I could fully document the extent of the media support for the liberal agenda. All this that I have listed should raise the question; what else is the media hiding from us? We cannot have a free society without a free, unbiased media. When the media so completely decides to support the party in power, it effectively becomes the state media. The citizens cannot make informed decisions on matters affecting our nation when the news media takes sides. The news media overwhelmingly supports the big government, high tax, high deficit policies of the Democrats. They minimize or ignore the danger of such huge levels of debt and attack anybody who urges fiscal responsibility. They are actively aiding those who will bring about our financial collapse and the ruination of our nation for future generations. We can't trust them to tell the truth about anything from infanticide to the ruinous economic policies that affect all of us. It is time to stop listening to the mainstream news media.

The news media has learned that it can create policy simply by coordinating coverage, or lack thereof, of events. They create the narrative that supports liberal policy. Effectively, we now have a state-controlled media. They have willingly gutted the First Amendment principles of a free media. This is how liberty dies and tyranny takes power.

I know there are differing opinions on when life begins. I personally find that the arguments for some arbitrary date during gestation are vague and unconvincing. As far as I am concerned, there is only one moment where you can clearly state that a new life exists where none existed before; that is the moment of conception. Regardless of my views, whatever one's opinion on the subject, I would hope that all would agree that a baby born alive, breathing and moving on it's own power, would be considered a living human being; an individual with all the rights enjoyed by any other person. Just because a woman goes to an abortion clinic to have an abortion should not change this undeniable fact. These babies were born alive and were then murdered. I find it terribly sad that some people would allow politics to cloud their judgement to such a degree that they cannot recognize the rights of a living, breathing human being. What have we become as a nation when the President of the United States supports infanticide and the news media is doing everything in it's power to bury this story.
