Politicized education

The Role of Educators

If you care about your country and your children's future, you would be wise to home school.
I became politically aware in junior high. Even at that age, I was able to recognize propaganda. I vividly remember my seventh grade teachers actively politicking against passage of Proposition 13. That, more than anything I had experiencd, brought me to examine the motivation of my teachers and question what they were teaching. I learned to use multiple information sources to develop a better overall understanding of what I was being taught in school. I learned critical thinking skills to evaluate the information that was presented to me. This has made me a better citizen and an informed voter. This is what you need to do for your children. You must provide them with the ability to think for themselves. I am appalled when I talk to public-school educated young people these days. So many of them have been indoctrinated, not educated. They blindly repeat what they have been told in school and reflexively reject any alternative viewpoints. They will not be good citizens, because they have not been taught to think and they haven't been taught morality.
