Libyan PM Zidan kidnapped

Get ready for another foreign policy performance that will make Jimmy Carter look Curchillian

CNN is reporting that armed rebels have kidnapped Libyan Prime Minister, Ali Zidan.  There aren't many details yet, so it's hard to tell how this will play out.  Here is one scenario.  In the morning the rebels - oh hell, let's just call them what they are - Islamist militia will announce that they have taken the PM prisoner because he cooperated with the United States and allowed al Qaeda terrorist Abu Anas al Libi to be seized by US forces.  They might hold Zidan hostage and demand the return of al Libi or the may just behead him as an apostate.  Either way it will be great theater watching Obama flop and twitch when the inevitable questions are asked.  Did the United States illegally seize al Libi?  Did Obama order the mission and, if so, did he anticipate this sort of thing might happen?  Will he negotiate with the Libyan militia (the way he did with Iran, but not the Republicans)?  American media lapdogs won't be asking these questions, but foreign journalists will.  I imagine that Vladimir Putin might even come back to get some sloppy seconds on Little Barry.  I'm just wondering who goes under the bus first; FBI, CIA, Delta, SecDef?  SecDef is a nominal Republican so he's my bet.   Ol' Chuck is too stupid to see it coming.  He will probably take one for the team (D), but I bet he blames the Jews for something or other before the back wheels bounce over his dumb ass.

Update: 10OCT13

Turns out it was just politics as usual in the shattered remains of what once was Libya.  Obama's off the hook for now.
