Media hiding information about the true state of Illinois' financial condition


This is how the news media is helping to destroy the country. When the news media ignores, lies about or suppresses information that could be politically harmful to the Democrats, they are hurting all citizens; Republicans, Democrats, Independents, everybody. How are people supposed to make informed decisions on which to base their votes when the news media is purposely hiding the information about the most pressing issues of government policy? How many businesses are going to get shafted by an irresponsible government? How many citizens of Illinois will see vital services cut because the Democrat-controlled Illinois government is more interested in rewarding political allies than providing for the needs of the citizens? This is the type of thing that the news media is supposed to investigate and report. The media jealously guards it's constitutional rights, but ignores it's moral obligation to report news in an honest, unbiased manner. In effect we now have a state-controlled media.

We have an administration that has repeatedly violated federal laws, openly flaunts Constitutional separation of powers. used the power of the IRS and EPA to punish political enemies, has provided guns to Mexican drug cartels, given almost a billion in high risk government-secured loans to Obama's campaign supporters in the green energy industry, violated bankruptcy law and precedent in the government bailout of the UAW, secretly provided sophisticated weaponry to al Qaeda-linked rebels in Syria, destabilized half the Arab world, insulted and offended many of our best allies, left Americans to die at the hands of terrorists in a foreign sh!thole and then obstructed Congress in its attempt to investigate. All this and more has happened in the last four and a half years and the mainstream media has done everything in its power to ignore or minimize these stories. Is it that they just don't like reporting on presidential scandals? No. They are still bringing up crap about the Nixon administration. It's not that they don't want to report on presidential scandals, they just don't want to report on anything that might put their ideology and the politicians that they support (worship) in a bad light. This is not journalism. It is not even journalistic malpractice. This is propaganda; pure and simple. Hitler had Goebbels, the Soviet Politburo had Pravda, Tass and Izvestia and the Democrat Party has the mainstream American media.
